Looking for the freshest lemons I could find, preferably with their leaves still on, I found these lovely, juicy Sicillian lemons in Waitrose in Westfield! I rushed them home, photographed them at their best and soon they will be joining my kitchen textile collection in some guise or other.
Having been photographed, they were turned into absolutely delicious juice and used in some cooking. The painting took me a while to complete, so it’s been added to my website as Autumn sets in. Lovely to be reminded of something so sunny and summery.
